Leadership in Crises examines the challenges that leaders face in extraordinary circumstances. The program offers participants an analytical framework for understanding the difference between a crisis and a routine emergency, and provides an in-depth look at the role a leader plays in identifying and executing the appropriate response in each situation.
Leaders working at all levels in this field – from first responders to elected officials to senior executives with responsibility for disaster planning or management – will bring real-world perspectives to this course. Participants will learn from each other as well as from a multidisciplinary Harvard faculty and distinguished guest speakers.
“The Leadership in Crisis program was an awesome educational experience. The program led me to reevaluate many of my current practices and views. I left with a renewed understanding and outlook and will return to my job reinvigorated.”
