What are the most effective roles for the public and private sectors in the provision of basic infrastructure? How do you build public-private partnerships in infrastructure that are technically defensible, economically feasible, and politically acceptable? What are the opportunities and limitations of using private capital markets to finance infrastructure? How do you design effective regulatory mechanisms?
Infrastructure in a Market Economy is designed to help senior decision-makers address critical questions about public-private partnerships in infrastructure. The program brings together senior-level officials from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to examine lessons learned and best practices from public-private infrastructure development projects around the world.
