OVERVIEW
Strategic Frameworks for Nonprofit Organizations is an online program designed to help nonprofit and NGO leaders in developing nations use strategic management frameworks to improve their organizations. The program represents a unique online learning opportunity for senior executives leading nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations to interact with Professor Christine Letts of Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and colleagues from around the world over a 10-week period.
Strategic Frameworks for Nonprofit Organizations is designed specifically to reach leaders in developing nations who would be unable to attend on-campus Executive Education programs offered by the John F. Kennedy School of Government.
The program focuses on five topics:
- Mission Statements
- Strategic Frameworks
- Program Portfolio Management
- Marketing
- Strategic Positioning
Each topic is covered in a two-week module that combines readings, online discussion, videos, and a workbook exercise — allowing participants to apply the information learned in each module directly to their organization.
