WHO SHOULD APPLY
The NPLI program is intended for senior policy makers in the United States, engaged in emergency preparedness in federal, state, and local agencies whose work affects the public’s health and safety. It is also intended for public officials responsible for building crisis-response capacity in both the public and nonprofit sectors.
To be eligible to apply, the applicant must have strategic planning or operational leadership responsibility in the event of a crisis in their jurisdiction, or be on a career track leading to such a position. Participants will be required to attend the initial one-week session and the concluding two and one-half day seminar.
