ADMISSION
Governance as Leadership is an online program.
Participants who take part in one online program will receive a 10%
discount on any subsequent online programs attended. Those who
participate in three or more programs in the series will receive a
special certificate indicating completion of the Online Leadership Series.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission to this online program is competitive and is based on professional achievement and organizational responsibility. Though there is no formal educational requirement, fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement for the program.
Because of the interactive nature of this program, the number of participants is limited. Early application is encouraged as qualified candidates are admitted on a rolling, space-available basis and programs often fill quickly. Applications received after the deadline will be considered only if space remains in the class.
FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
For applicants from Latin America
The Latin America Development Leadership Program is a new initiative designed to support talented professionals who are working in Latin America or for Latin America in senior and important junior positions in government and NGO organizations. Support is offered in the form of full or partial tuition assistance to attend a Harvard Kennedy School Executive Education program. The program selected should be relevant and suitable for the applicant, given his or her education, work experience, and professional aspirations.

Applicants must possess the following characteristics in order to receive fellowship support:
- Residency in Latin America or working internationally on behalf of Latin America
- Demonstrable commitment to and track record of work on issues of development, poverty, and hunger alleviation
- Evidence of a continued commitment to work to effect positive change in these areas
- Demonstrable need for financial assistance
As part of the application process, applicants are required to submit a brief essay (1-3 pages) documenting work experience and financial need and requesting support from the Latin America Development Leadership Program.
