WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The Global Change Agents program is for any executive, at any level, who wants to build leadership capacity and become a dynamic and successful change agent.

A change agent is an individual who seeks to get people to face difficult challenges, modify their values, and accomplish something significant. The program explores what kind of leadership and change is needed in the world today given that the forces of globalization generate tremendous opportunities and formidable dangers for nations and villages alike.

The program is appropriate for leaders in government, business, and non-governmental organizations. It is also appropriate for an individual working at the local level on community challenges or the national or international level working on global challenges.

Specifically, participants in this program should:

  • Be ready to tackle tough challenges, cross boundaries, and build partnerships to produce a significant accomplishment
  • Be willing to do in-depth exploration of their own values, assumptions, style, and behavior
  • Have a commitment to a bold vision and the passion to make a difference in the world
  • Seek to develop a richer understanding of culture, conflict and creativity and the implications for change, community, collaboration, and progress
