ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Admission is based on the candidate’s depth of experience and range of responsibility. There is no formal educational requirement, but fluency in written and spoken English is a necessity for the program.

Early application is encouraged. Qualified candidates are admitted on a rolling, space-available basis, and the program often fills to capacity. Because of the interactive nature of this program, the number of participants is limited. Applications received after the deadline will be considered only if space remains in the class. Because the time required to obtain a visa can be lengthy, we encourage applicants from outside the United States to apply at least 12 weeks before the program start date.

FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Executive Education at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government recognizes that tuition payment is an obstacle for some applicants. We have identified fellowship opportunities available to individuals who have applied for and been accepted to a given program.

The following fellowship(s) are administered by separate organizations and have a selection process entirely independent of Harvard Kennedy School. We encourage participants to explore relevant opportunities from this list, and to search for additional sources of fellowship support.

VA Benefits
For executives eligible for VA Benefits, please apply online. In response to the "Who will be the financial sponsor of your participation" question, type "VA Benefits". Harvard University will determine whether your benefits may be applied to Executive Education programs and we will inform you as part of the program admission process.
