Jeff Lawrence is a member of CLA's Executive Committee and is deeply involved in the further conceptual development and practice of Adaptive Leadership and, as a CLA Senior Associate, he is engaged with a variety of public and private sector organizations, helping them develop to build their leadership capacities. Among his current and/or recent clients are Watson Wyatt, Duke Corporate Education, Best Buy, Massachusetts School superintendents and Verizon.
With more than 25 years of experience in the fields of personal, organizational and business development, Jeff brings a broad range of capabilities to his Adaptive Leadership work. He has taught, coached and consulted with executive teams, CEO's, and work teams from five to fifty members. He is highly regarded for his platform as well as his one-on-one communication skills and works with CLA clients on a wide variety of issues, including strategy implementation, team building, succession planning, building alliances and leadership development.
Prior to joining CLA, Jeff's professional experience ranged from a corporate environment in financial services to starting and building his own company as a sole proprietor and as a partner with others. He holds a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Counseling from Colgate University. He currently teaches leadership at Northeastern University.
